Past or future?

 If I had to decide, I would go to the past without thinking twice, but with one detail, not go to the past where I existed, I would like to go to the past where there is no technology or electricity, basically I would like to be an Amish without being looked at like crazy.

I find that living in those times in the past is very interesting, I have always liked the countryside and the farm, so if I lived as an Amish in that time period it would be very cool, I will be worried about the farm, herding the sheep, feeding the chickens and going horseback riding everywhere.

But I still have a problem with that trip to the past and that is that I would live an Amish life but I don't want to be an Amish, I am not interested in religion or my soul or those things. If I traveled to the past to have this life without university, or depending on the money in my pocket, I would like to be something like an indigenous person from some town. more connected to nature, with a different perspective of life and self in the world. Although maybe if I traveled to the past, I would stay living there, I would not return to the present, but if I do that I would have in my memory all the knowledge of technology that one day, there will be cars, electricity and cell phones. Then I would live in the past but knowing what is in the distant future and I may miss technology sometimes.

In conclusion, I am still living in the present, but I wouldn't mind living in the past like Pocahontas.
